🚨 SECURITY ALERT: The “Flash USDT” & “Fake Tether” Epidemic
The Scam Narrative:
You meet a “trader” or see a YouTube/TikTok video demonstrating a “USDT Generator” or “Flash Software.”
They claim: “This tool sends USDT that stays in the wallet for 48 hours. You can use it to trick exchanges or do P2P trades.”
They offer to sell you this software or sell you 1,000 “Flash USDT” for $100.
How the Attack Works:
- The “Proof”: The scammer sends you a small amount of “Flash USDT.”
- The Visual Trick: You see a transaction in your wallet history labeled “received 100 USDT.” BUT, if you look closely, the value is $0, or the token is listed as “Unknown Token” (not the verified Tether).
- The Trap:
Scenario A (The Software Sale): You pay $500 for the “software.” The seller blocks you.
Scenario B (The P2P Heist): A buyer sends you “Flash USDT” for your Bitcoin. You see the notification and release the Bitcoin. Later, you realize the USDT you received is fake and cannot be sold.
Scenario C (The Malware): You download the “Flash Tool” on your PC. It silently scans your computer for seed phrases and drains your real wallets.
